Yoga Basics explores Hatha Yoga, using active yoga exercises and physical postures, asana, familiar to yoga practitioners worldwide.
Yoga Basics incorporates use of asana (postures), mudras (gestures) and breath control (pranayama), aiming to create balance and purity in the body and mind. It is ideal for those seeking good (mental and physical) health and fitness, and is also suitable for complete beginners.
Based on Hatha Yoga, Yoga flow, suitable for beginners and beyond, works on alignment and on holding postures, yet transitioning fluidly from one posture to the next. Like Vinyasa Flow, Yoga Flow encourages breath with movement.
Based on Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga Flow co-ordinates movement with breath to flow from one pose to the next. The pace of a Vinyasa Flow Yoga class tends to be faster than in Yoga Flow, increasing the heart rate, but still with a focus on correct alignment in each asana.
£28 for block of 4 classes
Classes will usually run in blocks of 4 (sometimes 5) beginning the first week of every month. If a student is unable to attend their usual class, and there is availability at a different class during their paid block, they may change their booking.
